Home is a recent sculptural installation by Colombian artist Miler Lagos. The piece was constructed at MagnanMetz Gallery late last year using carefully stacked books to create a compact dome that is entirely self-supporting.

I guess it’s always the same struggle… The one with control… I have no control over my mind-state or my abilities. It’s like once the fear or the need to escape sets in, I don’t know how to let it go. Even worse, is when I know it’s coming but still don’t know how to stop it…
